DESCRIBE
Newcastle attenuated vaccine is produced from the Newcastle virus strain Mukteswar infected via the fetus.
INGREDIENT
Each dose of vaccine contains:
Antigen: At least 106EID50 Newcastle virulent Mukteswar strain.
Supplement: Skim milk
POINT
Use vaccine to prevent Newcastle disease "Chicken toe disease" for chickens 2 months of age and older.
USING
Remove the vaccine from storage and allow it to reach room temperature.
Dissolve the vaccine with physiological saline or freeze-dried vaccine solution. Based on the number of doses listed on the label to mix the vaccine, each dose corresponds to 0.3 ml.
Inject 1 dose of mixed vaccine intramuscularly or subcutaneously into each animal.
The vaccine is used for healthy chickens over 2 months old. The vaccine can be used at 45-50 days of age provided that the chickens have been given a full Newcastle disease prevention schedule with B1, F or La Sota strains.
Breeding chickens and laying hens: Vaccinate again 2.5-3 months after each vaccine use.
NOTE
Carefully read the information on the vaccine vial and the attached instructions for use.
Vaccines should only be used while within their expiration date.
The virus strain can cause reactions in chickens under 2 months old that have not been vaccinated against Newcastle disease.
Laying hens may experience a slight decrease in egg production during vaccination.
Mixed vaccine should be used immediately or within 6 hours at storage conditions of 20C - 80C.
Syringes and needles must be sterilized before injection with boiled water. Do not sterilize syringes and needles with antiseptic chemicals.
If vaccinating multiple herds, the syringe and needle should be changed after each herd.
After use, vaccine vials and syringes must be collected and soaked in disinfectant or boiled before discarding.
